How do I design a cake?
Open the app and use the customisation tabs at the bottom (Core, Frosting, Sponge, Filling, Decor, Custom) to build your perfect cake in real-time 3D. Swipe between tabs to access all options.
Can I save my design?
Yes! Tap the heart icon to save your current design to favourites. You can also share your design as an image via the More menu.
How do I share my cake on social media?
Tap the hamburger menu (three lines) and choose "Snapshot". This creates a beautiful square image of your cake that you can share directly to Instagram, WhatsApp, or any social platform.
Is my data private?
Your designs, favourites, and cart stay on your device until you place an order. When you place an order, your contact details, delivery or pickup details, and the cake design are sent to our servers and shared only with the assigned bakery to fulfil it. Read our full Privacy Policy
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Cake design, favourites, and all customisation features work without an internet connection. An internet connection is only needed for sharing designs or placing orders.
What devices are supported?
Qaalab works on iPhone (iOS 15+), iPad, and modern web browsers. The 3D cake preview requires WebGL support.
How do I change the language?
Tap the hamburger menu and select the language toggle at the bottom. The app supports English and Arabic with full RTL support.
